Daniel Matto (born 2 December 1978 in Adelaide, South Australia) is an Australian singer-songwriter of Italian descent. His music showcases a unique style of jazz through original compositions, standards and rarities Before making his North American debut, Matto performed throughout eastern Australia in clubs and festivals in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and in New Zealand. Notable appearances included the Norwood Food and Wine Festival in Adelaide, the Manly Jazz Festival (Sydney), and the Tarunga Jazz Festival in New Zealand. Matto migrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2007, and performs regularly in clubs and festivals on Canada's East Coast.
